Can you answer the following questions?

What is the Woman Marine Association, and why does it have a building at Camp Pendleton, California?

Hint:  CA-7 is a chapter of the Women Marines Association.

FREE WALLPAPER

One of our chapter members has created a Windows Wallpaper for those who would like to decorate their computer desktop with a free reminder of the Women Marines Association. If you don't know how to change your desktop wallpaper, please read the information below.

When you’re ready to download the 281 KB zip file containing a 2.25 MB wallpaper bitmap file sized for the popular 1024 X 768 screen size, please click the red button at the bottom of this page. (Remember the location to which you are downloading this file.)

To enjoy this wallpaper, first unzip the file with an unzip program. If you don’t have an unzip program, a very good, small, simple unzip program is available free from Avatar Soft. It’s called JustZIPit. Click on this Avatar Soft website link to go to their website. You’ll have to scroll to the end of their page because JustZIPit is the last program on the front page (home page) of Avatar Soft’s website. Just click the download button to download the unzip program to your computer.

Once you’ve unzipped the file, you will have a Windows Wallpaper Bitmap file. This file, which is sized for a 1024 X 768 pixel screen size, can be dropped anywhere in your Windows folder which is located on your C drive. Once you’ve placed the wallpaper bitmap file in your Windows folder, you can make it your desktop wallpaper by the following easy procedure.

With your mouse, right click on a clear (uncluttered by icons) portion of your Windows desktop (a.k.a. your computer monitor screen). Instantly, a context menu will appear. Choose the last item on the menu which is called “Properties.” Click it with your mouse. Instantly, a Window will appear with tabs similar to the one shown here:

The Window is labeled “Display Properties.” Choose the first tab labeled “Background.” Toward the bottom of the window, you will see a scroll box with the names of various pictures. Scroll to the bottom of this scroll box until you come to the picture named “WMA_Wallpaper.” Select this picture by clicking on it.

A tiny image of the WMA_Wallpaper will show on the drawing of the monitor in the window. Click the button labeled “Apply.” Then click on the button labeled “OK.”

You have now changed your desktop wallpaper! It is just as easy to change your desktop wallpaper to something else by following the same procedure and making a different selection.

So, go ahead and click on the red button above to download an unofficial Women Marines Association Wallpaper!
